We understand and actively support our staff with their individual learning needs through regular appraisals and personal development plans.

Many departments have achieved Investors in People accreditation.

We are able to offer access to further education through our on-site multi-professional education centre. We have a fully equipped clinical skills laboratory and academic centre, all of which are staffed by a dedicated team. They are readily available for staff training needs, ensuring further training and development is available to all staff.

The Trust also offers extensive management development programmes, many of which are accredited by the Institute of Management.
