Whipps Cross University Hospital

Patients are encouraged not to come by car as there is limited parking on site. The main entrance to the hospital is on Whipps Cross Road (the A114) between the Whipps Cross roundabout and the Green Man roundabout.

There are Blue Badge parking bays on site for disabled drivers.

Parking or waiting is not allowed on the hospital’s ‘red route’ nor on any double yellow lines. Your car may be clamped and you may be fined.

There are a number of marked places which may be used for dropping off or picking up patients.

There are several pay and display car parks at the hospital. Fees apply day and night (see below).  Income generated is used for the patients’ benefit.

We have 400 spaces for patients and visitors – this is set by the local planning authority.

Car Parks 1 & 2 are off located just off Hospital Road.  The best route to these car parks is via the main entrance on Whipps Cross Road.

Car Park 3 is located just off Hospital Road.  The best route to this car park is via the James Lane entrance.

Car Park 4 is located just off Back Road.  The best route to this car park is via the main entrance on Whipps Cross Road or the James Lane entrance, turning up Bridge Street..
