It is a requirements of the NHS Code of Accountability, and reinforced in the Trust’s Standing Orders that Trust Board members should declare interests which are relevant and material to the NHS Board of which they are a member.
All existing Board members are required to declare such interests and newly appointed members must subsequently do so on appointment.
All members of the Trust Board and senior staff across the Trust are asked to update the information recorded against their name on an annual basis and, at this time, are also given guidance as to interests which should be regarded as “relevant and material” .
In addition, at every meeting of the Trust Board, members are asked to declare any interest that might be specific to items on the agenda for discussion.
The following is a resumé of interests currently declared by Non-Executive, Executive and Associate Board Directors and by members of the Executive team.
Full, signed, copies of these documents are held in the Trust’s Register of Interests.
