The Chest Clinic consists of a large multi-disciplinary team including five consultants (some part-time), and a team of health professionals including Macmillan Nurses, Respiratory Nurse Specialists, TB Nurse Specialists, Clinical Physiologists and a back up team of secretaries and administrative staff.
The unit has its own x-ray facilities which are run on a first come, first served basis so you may have to wait a while.
The unit runs clinics from Monday to Friday dealing with a whole range of breathing problems.

Blood Tests
You may be sent for a blood test, these are taken in the main Outpatients department, in Area 1 in the Yellow Zone.
GP X-ray
If you attend in the afternoon, you may also be sent to the main GP X-ray, this is located at Junction 8, in the Pink Zone and is accessed from Bridge Road.

To get an appointment at the Chest Clinic, you need a referral from your GP (General Practitioner).
