The Health4Nel Roadshow is now making its stop at Whipps Cross University Hospital on Wednesday 24th February at the Coffee Shop.
From 10am – 4pm you have the chance to meet special Health4Nel Ambassadors who will be on hand to answer all your queries and concerns on the consultation as well as the host organisation providing information, advice and support from:
• Whipps Cross Diabetes Centre
• Macmillan Information Officer
• Margaret Centre Complementary Therapies Team
The Health4NEL (Healthcare for North East London) review will result in a set of options about the future provision of health services in the sector.
Backed by all NHS organisations in North East London, including Whipps Cross, they provide a set of proposals which will ensure that services improve for patients and ongoing financial sustainability.
Lucy Moore, Chief Executive said: “We have been working in close partnership with our Primary Care Trusts (PCT) and local hospital trusts in north east London since the launch of the review – we welcome the proposals as they give a level of clarity which allows the hospital to plan for the future.”
The Whipps Cross Roadshow is your opportunity to hear about all the Health4Nel developments as well as having the chance to complete the consultation document and questionnaire and recording your views via a special video booth.
Other activities on the day will include the Macmillan Cancer Information Officer who is based onsite and available to provide advice and support from 10am – 1pm and members from the Margaret Centre Complementary Therapies team also exhibiting and offering complementary therapy taster sessions including Indian Head Massage and Reiki.
The major public consultation was launched 30 November and will continue for 14 weeks until 8 March 2010.
