Whipps Cross University Hospital NHS Trust aims to put patients first and improve the health of individuals through high quality, cost effective services.

We provide healthcare services to people mainly from Waltham Forest, west Redbridge, Essex and east London, funded by local primary care trusts.

Norovirus update

Visitor restrictions have been lifted at Whipps Cross University Hospital.  Two visitors are allowed per patient.  Please wash your hands with soap and water when onsite. 

Anyone who has had any vomiting and / or diarrhoea within the last 7 days and / or is unwell, feeling unwell (e.g. suffering a tummy bug) should not attend hospital.

First ports of call should be to NHS Direct on 0845 46 47 or via the website: www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk and GP practices, including out-of-hours services.
